Praise for Game Things That You Enjoy

Front Range Warlock
I've just recently discovered a few different game things that I really enjoy and, because I like sharing that enjoyment with others (and because I can't share reviews on DriveThruRPG*), I've decided to start a thread here dedicated to those things. Please use it to share things that YOU like! I'll start:

I really like Tasha Patterson's One Page d20/One Page 5e game system and supplements. It reminds me of the old Microlite stuff with better graphic design. Very fun (and affordable).

I've ordered quite a few dice from Viridian Dice over the past few years. They have affordable, quality, dice that make great gifts for yourself or others. They also have some neat accessories.

There's finally a new edition of Labyrinth Lord out there in the ether, and it's pretty freaking sweet. With OSE Basic going out of print, picking up a copy of the new Labyrinth Lord may be a smart play.

*DriveThru publishers can't review the products of other publishers because some very crappy people abused the review system.

Battletech
A friend came across this fan made campaign system for Battletech called Force Command Primer. This system is designed to live somewhere between a granular nuanced system of managing a merc force, and a streamlined abstract system. It helps immerse in the managing of your merc force in both hardware and economics. Though the turly remarkable aspect is the narrative mission building system that allows for asymmetrical matches with opponents. This system has been run through professional publishing software and is updated frequently. There is around 50-100 players around the U.S. and perhaps beyond using it and offering feedback.

Last year I wrote my own version of a PvE style Battletech game. Heavily influenced from the video games. Unlike a typical match that is designed to be a 1v1 fight to win, my system has a GM run an opfor and each player has 1 or 2 pilots of a merc company. I am just about to finish my first 15 mission campaign (the players are indeed mighty!) and will be working on a revision of the ruleset for later this year. I call it Battletech Classic Mercenaries (a working title for now).
This might seem like a bit of grandstanding praising myself, but ive only done so because CGL the current license holder, sees no value in this style of play or simply doesnt have the resources to do it themselves there is an incredible amount of fan made BT stuff its a great community
