Praise for the reviewers

As a more serious thought - is it possible for the reviews to display the number of views they have had? When posting a storyhour many of the authors don't get much direct feedback but at least the thread views shows that there are people who are looking at it.

(Obviously I'm asking whether this might be a facility that could be turned on rather than suggesting it be written from scratch... can't remember whether the reviews section is package software or home-built)

Cheers

Good point on the number of views, Plane Sailing. I've recently started reviewing for d20 Magazine Rack, and it is nice to be able to see how many views my reviews have had.

I never realized how much work goes into a thorough review. Before I started doing them myself, I could read through new products and skip parts that did not interest me, or were not applicable to my current campaign or even my current character. Now, I have to pay attention to details. Of course, as mentioned above, this can be a reward in itself, but it is nice to be appreciated.

Heh. Tell me about it. I still haven't more than done a cursory glance of Fields of Blood, because I have been too busy diving into deeper details of stuff I received review copies for.

I almost always check reviews before making a purchasing decision. Reviews are invaluable as a source of information to me and I deeply appreciate them. Having multiple reviews for a product is especially helpful. With the vast array of products available, being able to distinguish differences in approach, style and content between multiple supplements on the same subject is just great.

Thank you to all reviewers and also thank you to Crothian for bringing the subject up.
