PrC for a Bard: Seeker of the Llanno (V2.2 Finished)

Ok, I've updated the Seeker.

Droped skill points to 4, added the 6th level power Inspire Music (realy mostly a flavor thing, I almost could give it at first and it wouldn't be that bad), adjusted the spellcasting, so now they use their own spell list but increase on the bard casting.

I also tweeked the Level 0, 1 and 2 spell lists. Comments and suggestions before I continue would be greatly appreciated.

Finished the SRD spell list. Comments are welcome, as well as any spells that might be added from non-SRD sources.

in general, I like the feel. There are very few illusionary effects. Some Bardic abilities, and a lot more elemental effects. It's added a few attack spells to the bard, though nothing too exciting (I Searing Light at 3rd was the lowest level one added). I pondered adding flaming hands, not sure if that works well or not.

Anyway, please give me some feedback :)

Inspire Music should say twice the Seeker's class level, methinks, instead of just level (it's pretty obvious that this is what you intended). The spell list looks fairly balanced--lost some good spells and gained some good ones too. Over all, this PrC gains some extra music related powers at a cost of 2 skill points per level and 2 or 3 BAB (depending on the edge case--it loses 3 BAB over a 20 Bard). Plus they can't take the PrC until level 10 and they have to buy in with a skill focus feat and high ranks in several skills that fit well with the theme but aren't necessarily optimal for a 'normal' low-level Bard. This seems to be a good balance to me.

It could be, especially since at level 1, it only grants 2 ranks anyway. I might be careful about making it cost nothing and last 1 hour though. It seems like a high level Seeker could mobilise an army of thousands of performers all with over +20 to Perform. I'm not sure what you'd do with that--maybe Perform for the gold as per SRD. Perhaps the ability should activate for free as a side-effect of any other Bardic or Llano music the Seeker performs, thus limiting it away from infinity without charging for the use.

I guess you could max it out at effecting one person per Seeker level as well. That also weekend it at the lower level.

Remember, it give them the ranks flat, it doesn't increase their ranks, so if they already have it better, they keep their old rank.

Ok, done :)

Inspire Music now is a 1st level ability that gives 1 person per level (character) the use of 1 + seeker's character level (seeker) ranks in perform.

Greater changed it to twice Seeker's Character Level at 6th.

More a flavor power than anything. At this point, the Seeker can, at worst, mobilize an army of 20 performers who can perform as if they had 20 ranks in perform for an hour. FEER THEM!!!! :p
