PrC that add spell progression

I was wondering something to would bother me to not know....

Here what i think.

Zozo is a Lv5 Cleric and a Lv5 Wizard, she take a PrC that give her a +1 spell progression/Lv.

When she get his Lv11 Caracter she would be Lv5 Cleric/Lv5 Wizard/Lv1 PrC.

Would she cast as a Lv6 cleric AND Lv6 Mage, or would she had to choose what class to progress spell?

That could overpower Multi classed spell caster would you think?

Every time Zozo gains a level she has to decide to which spell casting class she possessed before entering the prestige class she adds the +1 spell progression.
