I think he will set out to make something better, using what he learned from Eberron.

If anything, something more suited for the system. As someone who loves Eberron, it's deepest flaw has proven to be just how closely tailored to 3e it was. Making it work in further editions has involved all sorts of rough edges and special legacy rules.

While whatever setting Baker does might be tightly meshed with the system rules, because that's kind of his thing, it's going to be Daggerheart's rules this time. Which means starting over and making something new.

Do you think he is just remaking Eberron with the serial numbers filed off? Because if not, your rebuttal makes very little sense.

Eberron might be Keith's baby, but a.) He doesn't have control over it and b.) its actually a mixture of a lot of things that weren't Keith's, so this is a chance for him to make something he has a LOT more direct control over without as much interference. I don't think it will be Eberron-ish, but I think it will retain Keith's general interests enough for the two to be spiritual siblings.

Sure. I agree. My post was meant to say that whatever Keith is doing has next to no impact over whether I would still want a Daggerheart version of Eberron. For clarity: boy would I.

Granted, but in practicality I know Eberron is WotC's, not Keith's to do with.
