D&D 5E (2024) Predict WotC's 2026 D&D releases

yes, as a new Xanathar's equivalent, not as updates across a dozen or so old adventures
I was not suggesting they would update old adventures, which wouldn’t make sense anyway since adventures don’t usually carry player crunch.

But I do think it’s more likely that they release these 2024 updates over a bunch of new books (like a Ravenloft update, a Dark Sun book, Etc.) than a Tasha’s or Xanathars replacement.

I would not count on it. What would they change, that stat blocks? I am sure they had some print runs since MotM came out but I don't believe they updated any of them then either
Y'know, one thing I would REALLY like is a book that takes all the monsters from the various adventure books we've gotten for 5E and put them in one book. I haven't bought all the adventure books myself, but I would really appreciate the monsters out of them.

I think that's Monsters of the Multiverse, although that might be missing sea lions and one or two others.

I kinda saw MotM as that, granted it did not take everything, but quite a few of the more important ones did show up

I would not mind a 2024 update of the stat blocks from the various adventures as its own book rather than as minor updates to each adventure. They can do that in the next MotM book
