Predictions for OOTS #666?

I figure we're close enough that the predictions will be interesting, but not an impossible challenge. Perhaps someone can throw up a prize for whoever gets closest to what happens, as decided by a vote? I doubt they would let the number 666 go by without something big happening.

I guess I'll throw out my guess and say confrontation with the lich dude, but V's former possessors decide at that time to take over V for a while and either ally with or control the lich, thus causing all sorts of havoc.

It's OOTS. It will have nothing special, then at the last panel someone will say, "Hey I bet everybody was expecting us to have something special for strip 666! Ha!" Or something along those lines.

(Edit -> I totally love OOTS by the way, but that's just the kind of thing Rich Burlew loves to do).

Maybe the same thing will happen as did to 666 A.D. -- Rich'll skip it and just number the next comic after 665 as 667.

I agree, the most likely event would be the IFCC taking claim over V and GREAT EVIL resulting. Which means that's not going to happen.

My never-gonna-happen prediction: The oots topple Xykon, win, forever protect the world from the Snarl, and the strip ends, making the number 666 a "good" (LG, NG, and/or CG) number.

I'm going to guess that it's going to have something to do with math. Rich spent oodles of time writing character dialogue in code, so he's got to have some love for that discipline. I'm guessing that abundant or triangular numbers, a roulette wheel (666 is the sum of all its numbers), a prime reciprocal magic square, or Smith brothers (2 Smith numbers) will be featured.

Note: As I'm not a mathematician, I won't RECOGNIZE any of this if he does it in any kind of subtle way.
