Prepping Planescape III

I'd like to make a PDF version of the map available online to those who'd like to make use of it themselves in their own campaigns. So does anyone here have any suggestions where I could host it and how heavy of a file would be manageable? It'd be a shame to have to reduce the size or resolution so much that it affects the map's clarity.

Obviously the map borrows heavily from Planescape artwork; namely from Rob Lazzaretti's In the Cage map with some character art from Tony DiTerlizzi. I've seen these pieces available online on various sites, but I don't know if it's technically permissible for me to post my map for others to use or not.

So any insight or suggestions for me on how to proceed? :)

Oh, I'd love to have it in it's full glory!

If you can get it down to 300MBs you could host it on a number of free filesharing hosts, like www.sharebigfile.com or Rapidshare.

[Edit] Sharebigfile seems to have upgraded to 500MBs on a free account. That ought to be enough, I think.

I'm so stealing your work, Ambrus and claiming to my gaming group that I did it. As I do this, I'll be dressed like an Egyptian god and my eyes will glow (sorry, Stargate: SG-1 reference).

Anyways.. Holy crap you did a lot of work, and it looks great!

Ever since PHII came out, I always wondered how a faction would work using the new organization rules. Did anyone ever make those rules? I want to steal them too.

I, uh, mean utilize them and pay the correct homage to the original creators. Seriously!

Sounds like you've got some piratitude. Yaar! Go ahead and do so if it'll make you a hero to your players. ;)

I don't know if anyone's tried applying the Player's Handbook II organization rules to the Factions, but if you're interested in the Unearthed Arcana affiliation rules then take a look at the very nice work that JustKim originally put together http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?p=2870758. Oryan77 has also been putting some effort into refining JustKim's work. I believe he's willing to share his work on the topic.

That's been done officially - the Free League was written up that way in Complete Scoundrel.

They did an excellent job, too.
