Interactive Design Adventures Presents Battle Armor , an armor sourcebook for the d20 System
February 7, 2005 (Independence, MO) -- On February 7, 2005, Interactive Design Adventures releases a d20 sourcebook called Battle Armor. The book features ten suits of defensive armor for modern and futuristic campaigns set in the d20 System. Battle Armor is a 20-page illustrated PDF file priced at $5, and it includes an added printer-friendly PDF for faster downloading and quicker printing. You can purchase this PDF at <www.rpgnow.com>. The book features illustrations by M. Newell Curlee.
Battle Armor is the eighth gaming product by Interactive Design Adventures. Designer Owen K.C. Stephens (author of Power of the Jedi and EverQuest Player's Handbook) wrote the book. Battle Armor provides players and NPCs with armor that can help defend them from the new armaments introduced in other d20 sources. Each of these suits of armor is fully illustrated, and rules for equipment mounts, weapon mounts, and ready racks flesh out the possibilities for using them in play. Also, Battle Armor contains twelve Stand-Ins printable figures that are ready to print and use.
"In many science fiction, modern espionage, and pulp action genres, armor is more important than any other gear," said Battle Armor's designer Owen K.C. Stephens. "Tales of the mobile infantry, galactic patrol and black ops freedom squads are rife with descriptions of powered battle armor, high-tech combat suits, and super-science defenses that just aren't thoroughly covered in other game products. By combining a solid set of rules with full head-to-toe illustrations for every suit described in the book, Battle Armor allows gamers to add those fantastic armor elements to their games both mechanically and visually."
