Prestige classes and etools

What's the most practical and easy way to include new prestige classes into the etools database? Prestige classes from the class books, the Forgotten Realms books, the Oriental Adventures...

I see lots of people have looked at this, but no replys...

As far as practical, I think all the ways you can do it are pretty rough. There are several copies of adjusted databases out there that have some prestige classes added. I think they can all be accessed from EnWorld's E-Tools page. But then, you have a hacked databases, and you can't be sure of the consequences. There is a legendary PATCH 1.0 coming out at some point in the as yet undetermined future which might addresss some of these issues. Also, the creator of the E-Tools Helper (Davin, I think) apparently has plans to create something that will allow adding prestige classes, but last I saw he was waiting on the mystic PATCH from fluid. So for now, E-Tools is not really all that great for Prestige Classes, although I use it quite a bit for other things, like making my own monsters and drawing up quick regular NPC's, but I DM a campaign. BTW, most of my DM buddies don't PrC's very often when creating NPC's because it's too much of a pain in the a$$. Gives me an idea for a thread...

I tortured e-tools to get the stats for my wizard 5/Guild Mage of Waterdeep 7/ Archmage 2 to work. What I basically did was to simply create feats that match up to the abilities for the prestige classes, and then "over-buy" I did the same thing with the extra languages for the guild mage.

Unfortunately, there is no way that I know of to specify the high arcana abilities and make sure that you forfiet the spell slots. But I can remember to do that.

I may do the same thing when my elven fighter/wizard prestiges into a bladesinger, since it looks as though we've been completely abandoned by Fluid.

Hey, fluid guys! Are you out there? Fix your boards and give us the patch so Davin can release his character editor!

I added in the Shifter prestige class fairly easily. It would be nice to get a step-by-step tutorial somewhere, but I was able to get it almost bug-free on my own. The only problem I still haven't gotten to (haven't poked at it for a few days now) was the times per day for Greater Wildshape.
