Wow. Slip away for a month or so and a lot has changed...
Anyhow, I'm posting because I've been working on getting a Fantasy Baseball League going (well, it's not so much OT, I have theories about Fantasy Baseball and RPGs being similar, but this isn't quite the place for that, well, at least not when I don't have a lot of time...) and I'm shy on teams. My league's looking for anywhere from 3 to 8 managers to fill us up (we're aiming at 15-20 teams). We're running it through Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.
Here's the catch -- live draft on-line tomorrow at 12:00 noon Eastern Time/9:00 AM Pacific, so this is late, late notice. My apologies. I didn't think to post here until after I left work today.
Anyhow, the league number is 8858 and the password is yossarian. To join, go to this link and click the Sign Up Button, follow the prompts, and get ready to draft in the morning.
League Info:
Rosters consist of 25 players, 23 active slots, arranged as so:
C, 1b, 2b, 3b, SS, 4 OF, Corner Inf., Middle Inf., and Util
5 SP, 2 RP, 1 Pitcher (SP/RP)
2 Bench
up to 4 (I think) Disabled List (does not count against roster size)
Scoring:
Batting: Avg., HR, RBI, OPS (Slugging + On Base), and Fielding %
Pitching: Wins, ERA, Saves, K, WHIP, CG, and K/BB
Transactions:
Trading Deadline: Wednesday 28 August, Trades have 2 days to go through, Players stay on Waivers 2 days, Daily Line-Up changes, no limit to Transactions
Hopefully some of you will join.
