We’re also offering some exciting 4th Edition releases at
Origins. A new preview adventure for the next living campaign,
Living Forgotten Realms, premieres here! Called
Death in the Skyfire Wastes, it takes the PCs to the harsh
lands of Calimshan where they race against time to reveal
secrets long buried in the desert sands. Living Forgotten
Realms debuts this August; 3rd-level characters are provided
for this event.

I'll be at Origins, but I don't do living campaigns anymore.

I can wait for Origins. And even then, since I am not going, after Origins this will likely be available for RPGA GM's to download and run as sanctioned play. Just as PREV-1 and PREV-2 were made available right when June 6th came around.

Scanning it isn't going to do anyone any good. Just get your herald level RPGA GM test done, download and run it as part of an official sanctioned game rather than putting on that eyepatch and clicking on unscrupulous web sites littered with naked boobies (or however one gets these files ahead of time).

Am I excited about another Preview adventure? Not as much as I would be about an actual RPGA Living Forgotten Realms module that I could book for play in August, but I haven't seen any posted up yet. Honestly, I am ready to kick off Living Forgotten Realms, but I'll probably run Prev-3 when I can get my hands on it legally.

Everything you need to take the herald level DM test is available online. I suggest using www.d20srd.org as your study guide, but there are many other resources for learning 3.5 D&D without buying anything. I don't know when the test will be converted to 4e, because I don't work for WoTC nor the RPGA.
