Previews for February and Beyond is up

I'm intrigued, but I also feel that perhaps the Order of the Emerald Claw could use a break from playing the villain in official Eberron adventures.

Let's see an adventure where you face off against the Ashbound, the minions of the Lords of Dust, or a cult of the Dragon Below.
Next you're going to say that Indiana Jones should stop fighting Nazis! (Which, actually, I think he is in his new movie.)

I use the free one from Creative Mountain Games.

Its kind of depressing to realise my 8th level binder has most of his slots empty, however.
A while back when I mentioned that I was looking for one Mark at Creative Mountain Games made one and posted it for free at his website. That's pretty darn cool if you ask me.

Now we just need to pester him to post the updated consolidated lists spreadsheets. :D

hmm...I'm interested to see what they do with Sigil. I was thinking I was going to pass on this one, but I think I've changed my mind.

I feel the same way, especially since it refers to Lolth holding a gathering of demon lords. Very interesting!

I'm willling to cut Matt some slack myself. He gets a bad rep when being excited about stuff ("he's just a shill") and he gets a bad rep when he's indifferent ("show some enthusiasm, man").

Not from the same people, of course. :D

But all in all, I think it'd would have been better to rewrite that last preview just a tad bit. :D

It's his job to be a shill...he's a promoter, not a reviewer.

So, Expedition to the Demonweb Pits is essentially a Planescape adventure, eh?

It'll be interesting to see how fundemental Sigil is to Demonweb Pits (much like I'm curious about how much of Greyhawk and Waterdeep are in Ruins and Undermountain). It's nice to see these old lines getting serviced this way.

I doubt we'll ever see an Al-Qadim Expedition (no iconic dungeons), but here's hoping for a Mystara one. Castle Amber, the Lost City or some of the other BD&D modules would be a natural, although Isle of Dread is presumably off the table now.

I don't fault Matt per se (we've all had those kind of days), but whoever approves web content (or edits it) probably should have tweaked it a bit.

And I don't mind the column itself either - just the intro tone.

I remember a 2E product - FR3 - which had a similar tone in the introduction, which left me thinking that the author disliked working on the product. Kinda dampens the reader's enthusiasm (IMO).

The best part of that article was the reference to the freebie we're getting, which, if I'm not mistaken, is Temple of the Frog 3.5! W00t! And so on.
I missed that, but very cool if so. Heck, with the 0one Roleplaying Games' homage map, that's two dungeons that will be available to DMs using the WotC source material.

At least the preview/excerpt for Magic Item compendium looks pretty sweet. I know it's making me more and more certain I NEED to get it. :)

LOL! :) Yeah figured you enjoy it more than I would Psion. Not that I don't like Planescape, I just wish they'd showcase Orcus' talents more. :p
