I have to say, that last picture for E2 looks darned scarey!

Imagine opening some old double doors in a catacomb to see that... i mean, do you see the pile of skulls on the ground? The glowing skulls on the walls. The wing span of the devil is as big as the head of the wall carving... which is darned big in itself... personally, i would run away upon seeing all that. :)

Nice to start seeing hints about divine power, though not crunchy, this gives some idea of how domains will shape up.

I found the Adventurers Vault 2 news is useful:

This chapter focuses on superior implements, a new type of masterwork item to give implement users more options, and magic items, the favorite equipment of PCs. New items include ammunition, wondrous tattoos and lairs, and consumable immurements.
Emphasis mine.

Schweeeeet. Also, now you can be a gnome and have a lair.

MAGIC SETS. Crap, I could so use that in my game right now, and the campaign is ending so soon. Sniffle.

I'm additionally glad to see that the list of magical item by level are in the APPENDIX, and not at the beginning of every item section.

I remember seeing more crunchy previews of the divine domains, so this was kind of disappointing . . . the trouble is that I don't remember where or when I saw the previews.

Maybe it was a dream.

*sigh*

'Lightening rail'?

Lightning rail, man! Light! Ning! Yes, I suppose technically the rail levitates so one might view it as making its contents lighter, i.e., lightening them, but . . . but . . . gwrm! Pet peeve!

It's a balor ;)

I'm glad the domains are basically going to be souped up channel divinity feats. I was worried it would be a heap of freebies, now I just have to hope the domains are relatively balanced, unlike 3E's collection.
