Very good article, with a great mix of story and crunch. The article describes a few primal spirits and offers backgrounds, alternate rewards or powers for each.

Good article for those running Dark Sun games. I've got a few players in my current group who might someday benefit from one of those boons.

This article had some pretty interesting fluff and solid crunch. I'm a big fan of primal spirits in this edition and to catch a glimpse at the not so benevolent or sane ones really sparks some ideas for my own campaign.

Honestly, my only complaint was that it was only 5 pages. I could have happily read another 5 given the quality. In any case, Dave Adams has a new fan!

I agree. I'd rather have longer articles, even if they're released in two parts. It's also easier to explore a single idea further than to come up with two separate ideas.

I really liked this article - it's not a lot of stuff I'll use for much more than flavor, probably, but I like having the option. I hope they do a lot more like this.
