D&D 5E (2014) Primeval Thule

Greetings All...

I am absolutely in love with Sasquatch Game Design's 'Primeval Thule Campaign Setting' for 5e.

I'm just wondering if anyone else here is planning on running games in this setting?

I want to get my hands on a copy, but haven't had the cash so far. Just from the look of it, it's way closer to what I want from D&D than what I've seen from WOTC so far.

I am planning some games in Thule already (got my PDF). I think it is probably my favourite setting of all time, and that has a lot to do with rare magic and the Cthulu factor. I do plan on houseruling a dangerous magic mechanic however to reinforce that theme (most likely a wild magic type table).

I have a campaign I've been running for a while now that started out in the Thunder Rift, from the old Basic D&D modules. I had been planning to keep the Mystara setting for it, but once I heard of Thule I relocated the Thunder Rift to he mountains northwest of Ren Shaar. The PCs aren't out yet, but will be soon; I have them on the trail of some Yuan-ti from a 3.5 adventure series, and that trail will lead them out of the Rift through a passage that will close behind them.

Like Salamandyr, Thule is almost exactly what I want in a D&D campaign. And where it comes up short, The Spider God's Bride fills in neatly.

I also reworked magic slightly; I was just describing my changes in another thread.
