Nothing with D&D is sight unseen. Everything gets extensive promotion both here at EnWorld and on the Wizard's website. Also the reviews section here is very helpful!

According to what he said, he seemed to have been ready to shell out the cash for the book without first checking to see if it would have actually fit in with what he was doing... and it was only after reading what was said here that it told him it wouldn't have been useful.

And there's the rub... my PC's are running round Hommlet right now, as I frantically try to keep one step ahead of them converting Temple of Elemental Evil up to 5th Ed. Trying to shoe-horn PotA into that space now would certainly not work.

See - right there I know that right now, it won't fit what I'm doing and where I'm doing it. Glad I didn't shell out £30+ to find that out!

It sounds like Princes is exactly what you need, a 5th edition Temple of Elemental evil already written for you.

Based on what I've heard in the Reviews here, I was kind of keen to get it. If I want to play this in my version of Greyhawk, it will mean reconfiguring, because "my" Hommlet and surrounding area won't have "their" elemental dungeons in it. And that might mean more work to port things about than I have time for at the moment.
Ah true, if your players have already run around a bunch, then it'd be harder to fit in the above-ground dungeons. You can still use the underground dungeons but the first four dungeons won't be as useful.
