Repair nothing! For low-end models, it's actually cheaper to THROW YOUR PRINTER AWAY and buy a new one (that comes with ink cartridges) than to buy new ink cartridges.
This is starting to be true for the low-end color laser printers as well. When I worked for Office Max, I had several customers tell me that they bought cheap color inkjets and donated them to Goodwill when the ink ran out and then bought another cheap color inkjet to replace it since it was cheaper than buying the ink.
Jim Louderback at PC Magazine (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1872003,00.asp) did some calculations on some of the really cheap inkjets and figured out that you're paying between $1 - $5 for the printer, all the rest of the cost was for the ink.
