Well I've used the spell myself with my Air Savant character. Its powerful and useful but not overly so. combat wise it depends a lot on what your facing. Against brute types it makes you unassaible...against other spellcasters it can be useful...but other spellcasters generaly have Magic Missiles and lots of em...which affect you normaly. There was one particularly special incident that involved the spell...we were after a mage...one of a set of brothers the other of which I had already killed...he had stolen one of the kingdoms orbs...artifacts with the power to control the elements. he was using it on us...I was in Ghostform to get through the traps around where he was holed up...and he ghostformed himself also. Finaly, after we duked it out for a while and the elven cleric managed to decapitate himself with his vorpal sword(which I thought was rather stupid...the DM was a little to liberal with "critical fumbles"), I basicaly lunged at the mage and we had an incorporeal grapple :-) I got the orb of course :::-)
