Well newsagents still get Both Dragon/Dungeon in Australia

even in a small town like mine, we get Dragon/Dungeon every month,

It maybe only up to dragon 309 :) I am just happy to have a regular supplier

Ditto :)

So, it'd be nice to have someone from Paizo respond on the boards here, informing those of us in the antipodes what's going on...

The demo DVD you get in Australia is Region 1.

Suppose they figure why send it when most can't watch it?

Not to mention, when I bought mine from the local newsagent, the DVD was bent and had to use a friends DVD Burner to read the thing, my comp DVD-ROM wouldn't read it all, and my DVD-Player was the wrong region.

I sent a mail that I hadn't received #310 yet and they immediately air mailed me another copy!

Wade said they have been having issues with their Asia Pacific subscriptions (including Australia) but "you should expect us to be acting as a well oiled machine very soon".

Update:
After having problems with my credit card I emailed customer.service @ Paizo and
asked if they could perhaps give me a call and I will give them the credit card.
Due to time zones (I am in Melbourne,AU) I expected to be woken up at 2am (if they called at all).

Jeff gave me a call at 7am local just as I was leaving for work. Gave him the details and he is going ahead at sending Dragon 310,311 & Dungeon 101,102.

Verified my address, then told me when the next issues are coming out.
Hopefully I should have a pile of magazine reaching me in the next fortnight. javascript:smilie(':)')

To those in AU who buy Dragon/ Dungeon over the counter, think of this.

I will be paying $11.74AUD per issue,
I should get them two weeks to a month before you get them in a gaming store;
or two to three months before a newsagency.

Is your newsagency really a reliable supplier?
These come via Gordon&Gotch. Ask a newsagent of their opinion of getting GG and get ready for the rant to start.
Several times this year I have had to roam other newsagencies to look for a magazine because GG screwed up and did not deliver to my local.

If Paizo delivers, it pays to subscribe.

As to the DVD being region1: bad call but I doubt Paizo had anything to do with it. I suspect the company that sells the DVD paid for the right to add the disc to the magazine.

Let me know if they deliver, cos I've been wanted to subscribe for a while now, but I've never been able to find anyone who did out this way!

My FLGS sells Dragon and they also come with the bonus DVD. However my subscription did not. I cannot for the life of me figure that one out  As I stated above, I also have a multi-region DVD player and could have watched the DVD if I got it. :(

I think I posted a couple of weeks ago that the guys at Piazo, in response to an email from me, advised that they did not send out DVDs with the subscription copy because they assumed that we Aussies wouldn't have the ability to play same. They also stated that they would extend the subscription by one month or, if I had the correct DVD player, they would send the DVD to me.

Drop them a line: they do reply promptly.

Andrew at Napoleons is subscribed to Dragon magazine. Has been for years.
His wife harrassed them everyday until they said yes. ;-)
That was about four years ago.

Their policy to AU subs has of course changed. But considing the (non)work by PCS I experienced it made little difference.
