Prophecy needed.

Tolen Mar

First Post
I'm putting together an online campaign for a few friends of mine, and I'm drawing a blank.

Basically, The church is feeding everybody this story about a prophecy about to come true, and as a result, the common folk believe that the world is about to end. This is spawning a mass exodus through church sanctioned dimensional gates.

The thing is, I only have one line of the prophecy:

"dies the sun."

Someone want to help me come up with something suitably poetic and yet non-specific?
Just a couple of stanzas is all I need.
Thanks in advance.

Hmm... how about-

In red dusklight, the forgotton rise
with malice. When at the last
it dies, the sun
cannot save all.

Or something like...

Anger will kill it, for hate is sharp,
Greed will steal it, for lust is blind.
Apathy will drain it's power
Light will not come when, in cold murder, dies the sun.

I think this one is fairly good, it at least gives me something to work with, thanks.

it cries, the one, at once sky and sea
it vies, the sun, many places be
it buys, the one, the souls that don't see
it flys, the sun, that bears hidden key
it ties, the one, the courtier to tea

it tries, the sun, to rise from the souther
it lies, the one, at command of the mother
it dies, the sun, on a day like no other
it spies, the one, on the lives it will smother
it defies, the sun, in the time of another
