Prophet's Blood

Kikyik will use Endure Exposure (his invocation) on all his companions (Needs to touch each one) on the way there. This makes them immune to his firebreath. When he enters the battle, he will try not to attract attention to himself while trying to line up a good breath spout. He will let loose ASAP, making sure to avoid those allies who do not benefit from his invocation.

Dalen swears a few interesting curses as Kardus barrels in ‘what ever happened to talking first and finding out what they are about?’ Dalen thought to himself. But alas the brashness of youth. This may begin in bloodshed when it could have been averted with words. The kobolds actions are strange as it touches him as it runs by, but is not concerned too much as it seemed not to be detrimental to Dalen and his actions. “Stop!" He calls out with all the authority that he can muster in hopes that he can avoid bloodshed or if not that at least delay it.

(ooc Dalen continues to jog as he knows that barroling in would be a good way to get himself killed, he will hold back about 30' before he yells 'stop' in hopes that violence van be averted. But if it doesn't look that way the first round of the next round of combat he is manifesting his mindblade. So that would mean that 2 rounds of combat will insue before he calls out to stop)

Ildrym charges along and after muttering something like <Defence or offence? Nah, smashing down skulls works better.> he pulls of his greatsword and runs, putting himself on the frontline of the team. He doesn't seem to notice what the kobold behind him is doing, or maybe he just doesn't care.

[sblock=ooc]
As soon as we get within reach, Ildym will charge using power attack one. +5 to hit, 2d6+6 damage[/sblock]

Araug watches the interaction between the thugs and the patrons from the inn, preferring to let the humans in this rag-tag group do the talking. Being an orc, his skills at diplomacy are somewhat lacking.

Kardus smashes the cheek of one of the thugs, being no more than three and a half foot tall, with a well placed stone. Brightheart whinnies his approval and wades into battle.

The heavy thugs move to flank Brightheart, snarling curses upon Kardus' profession. Their heavy axe blades swung at Brightheart's flank, one cutting deeply into the horse's flesh. The other axe blade reaches too far, slicing his comrade's shoulder.

The small thugs step back before they sling rocks at Kardus, one shot going wide while the other stings his right leg.

Two rounds till others enter combat

Brightheart rears back, delivering a solid kick to the injured thug, sending him sprawling to the ground bleeding. He then grazes the standing thug's left arm with his teeth. The remaining heavy thug hacks into Brightheart's shoulder with a scream of fear, echoed by Brightheart.

The small thugs reload and sling their stones, one impacting on Kardus' abdomen with a dull thud.

Kardus rearms himself with his trusted quarterstaff, ready to attack.

One round before others enter combat.

Hearing the others coming up, Kardus assumes a clearly defensive posture (total defense), as Brightheart (also total defense) whirls, biting and kicking attempting to force the attackers to back off.

**As per other thread, I will instead full withdraw behind the upcoming reinforcements.

Cyrack will of course allow Kikyik to touch him, and when the get to combat Cyrack will start start out by casting flare on the closest person to him

Whirling about Brightheart follows his master's command to back off, cleverly evading the dwarf's greataxe. Two rocks slung from the shadows miss completely.

Ok everyone that's heading there may enter combat at will. The dwarf is in charging range, and the other two will be a bit easier to spot once you're in combat.
