The thing about StC that I really like is that in order for it to have any effect, you have to miss completely with the power that you want to reuse. So there's no way to pull off a double-RoB. If all you want to do is ensure that you don't miss, you're probably better off using something else that allows a reroll on a miss. There are lots of those.

So I'm gonna go ahead and vote YES.

Yes, good points. I can't seem to get my head around remembering that your power has to be a complete and total flop before you can use StC.

Don't get me started. I think I missed every attack roll in my first two encounters. I have yet to hit with my Vampiric Embrace!

I'd like to re-submit the above feat from Dragon 366 as it doesn't appear we have decided to change most other WOTC rules and there is little evidence that the above is actually overpowered, especially in direct comparison to such powers as Rain of Blows, or the feat Righteous Rage of Tempus.

As a lover of irony, I just want to point the fact that these precise features used in support of your case have just been nerfed, dismantling the argument two weeks after it has been accepted!

Oh, the humanity!
