Propper storage of books...

Recently, my Serpent Kingdoms backboard glue separated from the case the other night when I opened it. Closer inspection of my books revealed somthing... They break from the top down. A little thought and I surmised that with the new page weight of most gaming books gravity has become our new enemy.

With this in mind it occurs to me that the best way to store gaming books is to have them flat on the shelf in a stack with the spine facing out. This way gravity reinforces the spine rather than separates it. And in truth I think the shelf can actually hold more in this configuration.

i've got my newer edition books stack for easier burning/dust collection.

Good point Diaglo, a book flat on the shelf does not collect as much dust on top of the pages too.
