Protection from Compulsion

Graz

First Post
I'm trying to find all the different spells or items that would grant protection from Enchantment (Compulsion) spells. I'm looking through all the WOTC products.

Here are the ones I've found:

Mind Blank (PHB 253) - immunity to all mind-affecting spells and effects
Protection from Evil Line (PHB 266) - wards against ongoing control effects
Magic Circle (PHB 249) - as protection line
Holy Aura (PHB 241) - as protection line
Antimagic Field (PHB 200) - immune to magic
Spell Turning (PHB 282) - wards against targeted spells
Favor of Ilmater (MoF 93) - immune to charm and compulsions
Elminster's Effulgent Epuration (MoF 91) - negates hostile magic

I'm interested in any other spells that I may have missed. I'm also interested in any items that would protect from these effects as well. Any item that duplicates one of the above spells is a given, I'm looking for anything else that I may have overlooked.

Thanks

Here are some more:

Iron Body (PHB)
Elemental Body (MotP)
Shapechange (PHB)

Also, if you are talking about dominate person specifically, then any spell that increases you to large size will prevent the spell from working:

Enlarge Person (PHB)
Polymorph (PHB)

Also, with creative casting, these spells should also work:

Limited Wish (PHB)
Miracle (PHB)
Wish (PHB)

Changing creature type is definitely a possiblity versus some of the mind-affecting (compulsion) effects that are targeted versus specific creature types.

But, I don't understand your choice of Iron Body or Elemental Body. As far as I can tell from the Spell description neither actually changes your creature type nor lists any specific immunity. Are you referring to something else in regards to these spells?

Sublime Revelry from BoED definitely fits the bill though.

I was not specifically looking at dominate person when I asked the question. Actually the spell I'm looking to counter is Wages of Sin from BoED. It targets any Evil Creatures so changing creature type won't help.

So far boosting your will save, getting SR or having mind blank were the only defenses I could find. Sublime Revelry will add another defense.

Any ideas about countering this particular spell? Its enchantment (compulsion) [good, mind-affecting].
