Protection From Targeted Dispell

Avoid Babau demons.

Be less tempting of a target for dispells. If foes see you cast, cast, cast and then enter melee, they know those spells have to go.

That combat I hadn't cast any buffs, they were in place from earlier.

Be less dependant on spell buffs. Spread the magic around the party.

It's a party of clerics. Literally. We all have at least three levels of cleric. We've got clerics spending slots on AoE spells.

There's love to go around.

I do the Hero's Feast for breakfast for everyone and keep a Heal on hand. I keep several specialized healing and restorative spells in memory as well.

It's not uncommon to have 7-8 spells up going into combat ... of which I only cast 3 myself. As a whole we're magic dependant ... I'm just usually the guy with Righteous Might and Stoneskin on.

That is what is supposed to happen! I MHO If you use your spells as such a crutch that both ring slots are getting RoC:Dispel Magic, you deserve it.

It's not even that I'm afraid to go into combat without a Righteous Might, Divine Power, Divine Favor combo up. It's that, at these levels, there's some stuff that will outright Just Kill You. 500' drops, rooms of fire, packs of Dread Wraiths.

I've got several non-magical back-ups. Rage 3/Day and Divine Vigor 5/Day, a big mean magic club, some buff items. I haven't figured out a redundant system for lava immunity and flying, though.

We've been getting into a few fights with creatures that have DM as a SLA, so it isn't just one or two ... I got hit with SIX once.

Right now I'm planning on two Rings of Counterspell with DMs in them, which will give me two layers of defense, but, as I said, I've seen SIX tossed at me before.
A ring of counterspells will not help at all vs. a SLA. So, if your main problem is with creature with DM or even GDM as a SLA, you need another alternative. Note that this also applies to anyone wanted to counterspell, which cannot be done vs. the SLA.

The ring of counterspells can hold 2 spells up and including 6th level.
No, only one. "However, while it allows a single spell of 1st through 6th level to be cast into it, that spell cannot be cast out of the ring again."

Have you considered a Rod of Absorbtion?

...

It's a steal at 50,000gp...
I used to think so as well until just now, when Artoomis pointed out that it can't absorb more than 50 spell levels. Ever. (I'd somehow gotten the idea that you could absorb/cast as much as you wanted, with an upper limit of 50 for "saved" energy. :( :o ) IMO the cost is too great unless you're very high level.

And you need to have the rod in hand to absorb spells, which is a problem for a melee cleric.

edit: My mistake - the rod must be "in hand."

I think it may be more fun using the "mixed blessing" approach where any time it is on your person, EVERY targeted spell cast at you is absorbed, whether good or bad.

If your party has a mage with a familiar, the familiar has two free ring slots for more Rings of Counterspeling.

Casting your buffs while under the effect of the Bead of Karma, that feat that lets you use a turn attempt to boost your caster level, and the +1 caster level ioun stone will make your buffs more resistant to dispels, along with buffing your buffs' effects.

At higher level, the spellcasters can spread higher level "mass" buff spells (such as mass bear's endurance) on all allies to work as a buffer against area effect dispels. Casting lifesaving spells two or three times on a single target can also help, as they will be functioning simutaneously.
