pseudo-Ceramic DM (Rd 1 started)

Yeah, I tried to get into Iron DM but missed by like 10 minutes and it's a personal decision not to be an alternate. However, I am here for the ceramic DM and can't wait to see my first set of tormentuous pictures posted by a sick, twisted and evil referee after my own heart.

Thanks, Drawmack, and for beating me last time around I'll make sure to save the best pictures for you (:D just kidding :D).

If you give me a set of pictures scarfed from rotten.com I'll kill you.

Hmm, and PA isn't very far away from MD...

Sniktch calls the local law enforcement agency and inquires about restraining orders

Seriously, though, I wouldn't dream of it. I just thought this would be a way to stay sharp until Clay got back. And since mirthcard won't be in on this one, its a perfect opportunity to hone your game with a shot at unseating him next time around! :D

I'm assuming this isn't a site I should check out at work? I've honestly never heard of it before...

No, not at all! By 'boys' I was referring to Maldur, Arwink, and myself, of course. We'd be happy to have you onboard if you're interested. :)

I was only teasing.:) Thanks for the offer, but now is not the best time. I'll be watching, though.

From what I gather, it's a site full of pictures of the worst kind, like dead and mutilated people. Not the type of site to check out ANYWHERE. And anyone posting pictures from there would probably get shouted at by moderators.

Of course, having never been there, I may be wrong.

Sniktch, sure I'm in.

I noticed last time it seemed like most entries were stories rather than scenarios. Is there a preference?

As a judge: no, not really.
Personally: Just between you and me, I prefer stories. I think Iron DM already does a great job with scenario design, and stories are much more my "thing" in the long run. It takes me about half the time to evaluate a story as it does to do a scenario :D

I think it would be great if the judges could post a what they'll be looking for so we can write to them. Of course, I understand if they don't do this. But just maybe things like which is more important to you implementation or idea, creative picture usage or good picture description?
