psi-hunter pc/npc template
psi-hunter is an aquired template that may be added to any creature with access to at least 3rd-level powers
a psi-hunter has all the characteristics of the base creature with the following additions
Hit-dice: Upgrade each die one type (if the die is already a d12 just give it an extra hit point for that level
speed: land +40 ft, if the creature does not have a land speed it gains a land speed of 40 ft / fly +50 ft, if the creature does not have a fly speed it gains a fly speed of 50 ft (average manueverability) / swim +30 ft, if the creature does not have a swim speed it gains a swim speed of 30 ft / climb +20 ft, if the creature does not have a climb speed it gains a climb speed of 20 ft / burrow +10 ft, if the creature does not have a burrow speed it gains a burrow speed of 10 ft
AC: natural armor improves by +3
special attacks: power drain, dispeller bolt,psionics
Special qualities : energy resistance (all 5) 20, force resistance 10, dark vision+120 ft, if the creature does not have dark vision it gains dark vision 120ft, power/spell resistance 10 + character level
saves: +2 versus spells and powers
Abilities: +2 str, +2 dex, +2 con, +2 int, +2 wis, +2 cha
Skills: +2 on psi-craft, Knowledge (psionics, and planes), jump, tumble, hide, move silently, survival, listen, spot, search, intimidate, and concentration checks
feats: creature gains 1 bonus feat
power drain: every creature within a 60 ft sphere around the hunter loses 1d4 power points each round which the hunter gains (excess power points are treated as temporary and dissapate at the end of the day if not used).
dispeller bolt: once per round instead of a normal attack a hunter may fire a dispeller bolt at a given target as a ranged touch attack, a successful hit means the target recieves the effects of a dispell magic/negate psionics spell/power with the hunter's character level determinig the effective level of this effect.
psionics: each hunter chooses 1 power from each level (0-9) which it then gains as a power-like ability 2/day using its total manifester level to determine level dependant effects.
force resistance: the first 10 points of force damage a hunter takes in a round is negated.
