D&D (2024) Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

Also remember if this class UA fails, not just gets tweaked, but outright fails, we are likely to not get another shot at a Psion Class and that a spell less Psion class is very unlikely as it would take up a huge amount of Book space. Could be wrong, just my 2 cents.

Are you asking if we like it, or is this a power rating?

This feels like a threat. Are you a secret WotC insider, and the future of the class is dependent on this poll if we don't answer right? ;)

Yellow. I like it, but it could do with some improvements. I personally would prefer power points over spell slots, complete with augmentable powers, but I am willing to accept spell slots and spells instead.

I think some of the wording, particularly with things that require you to spend two Psionic Energy dice but only roll one of them (or vice versa - spend one die but roll two!) could be worded more clearly / less clunkily.

I think Telekinetic Fling requiring ammunition is a bit unfair. Other spellcasters don't require ammo for Fire Bolt or Ray of Frost or anything like that.

Green.

Any changes that I feel psionics should have that WotC did not put into this I am more than capable and happy to add myself. After all... if I really wanted/needed a very specific type of psionic mechanics set, I would have found them or created them for myself years ago. I'm not going to get hung up on WotC's choices now, not after the myriad of times they've tried it and gotten crapped on by the gaming populace in the past.

Not going to let Perfect be the enemy of Good.

What do the colors mean? Green - I would buy a refined version of this approach, yellow I might buy it, red I would not buy it? Or is this just about liking it? Or something else?
