D&D (2024) Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

needs some refinement, some thematic work, and I want that unable to ever die thing from the mystic to be in there for no reason other than to make the one caster you do not have to worry about.
Chartreuse is my present vote.

Even if it's not exactly what I want, I'll be giving it mostly green, with a bit of yellow to give feedback where needed.

I know how WotC UA surveys work. If there is even a hint of dislike, they will axe the entire concept for another 10+ years.

Red. WotC not producing desired material (like psionics) only serves to hasten the transition away from "official WotC" and towards 3pp material. which is my long-term desire.

That's not true. They are still need to make something for the book.
Red is voting for something completely different.


Of course, I can vote Red for "Spellcasting", which is the part that I don't like.

Last time is would have been in Xanathar's Guide. But it got nixed because not enough people voted for it. This is the 3rd or 4th attempt, they are NOT going to keep on trying. Either the book it is intended for is a long way out, and the book will be cancelled, or it isn't, and its far too late to make significant changes.

Green. I want to see if WoTC's Psion can outdo Laser Llama's Psion* and @Steampunkette 's Esper.

Some 3pp designers just do better than WoTC.

I'd rather have a Psion than not have a Psion in 5e D&D.

However I'll use the survey to voice my preference for different mechanics while still judging the class's mechanics on the design goals.

My opinion, like many, will be ignored and I'm okay with that.

I dunno. Yellow, I guess? I’m not super invested in the psion, but this version seems fine, and I’m generally in favor of more iterative design rather than less.
