Does a psion/wilder dual class keep separate power point pools?
Nonlethal Force said:And, I beleive you keep your manifester levels seperate as well. So, no using that wilder level to cast a psion power (or the other way around, whichever happens to be more).
Essentially, ask yourself it you would ever want to be a wizard/warmage. It'll be pretty similar to that.
But yes, your powerpoints go into a combined pool, which more often than not will actually be smaller than if you'd have just stayed one class anyway. [IIRC, of course]

Drowbane said:(IIRC) You can Wildsurge anytime you use a Psionic power. So a Wilder 2 / Psion 5 could still whip out a ML 7 psion power by using Wild Surge.
Not nearly as cool as being a 7 Wilder unleashing a ML 10 power though![]()
SRD said:A wilder can choose to invoke a wild surge whenever she manifests a power. When she does so, she gains +1 to her manifester level with that manifestation of the power. The manifester level boost gives her the ability to augment her powers to a higher degree than she otherwise could; however, she pays no extra power point for this wild surge. Instead, the additional 1 power point that would normally be required to augment the power is effectively supplied by the wild surge.
