Psionic Duergar and Magic in the Blood

In a campaign where you use psionic rules, can a psionic duergar take the FR regional feat magic in the blood? IIRC this feat is for sla's but since its also a psionic game, the duergar's sla's become psi-like abilities. So do I still qualify for it making my psionic invisibility and expansion 3/day? It's also a FR game btw.

Ditto to Sehkmet's answer. I have personally used Magic in the Blood with "almost racial" SLAs, such as those granted by 1/2 Celestial or Phrenic. Note that Psionic like abilities are just... SLAs. Even if they have a psionic base. Or maybe thats just years of house ruling it that way... I'm not 100% sure.

I would use a reflavoured psionic version of the feat with appropriate changes to make it fit better...

I disagree with this. I don't think Arcane and Psi need seperate versions of the same feats for every little thing. Crafting? A Wand and a Dorje are the same damn thing, can be built at the same levels, with the (almost) same exact prereqs... why two feats? Same for "Psionic Aptitude" / Magic in the Blood, mechanically there is no reason to have two seperate feats.

Meta feats work different between the two magic systems, so sure...

Realistically though magic and psionics would have different ways of working and achieving the same goals, so they have different feats.

The OP is talking about a feat that changes your innate / racial SLAs from 1/day to 3/day. This should work no matter if the SLA is arcane, divine, or psionic in flavor.

If you were in reference to the fact that we get two versions of each of the craft feats, because "Psionics is slightly different", then I disagree. There are already too many craft magic feats before we get into the notion that psionic items must be made with seperate feats. edit: back to the Craft Wand / Craft Dorje example, it is enough for me that you have to be "Psionicist X+" to craft or air in the crafting of a psionic wand (dorje).
