Is there any other way to gain a Psionic Focus without spending a Full Round Action provoking attacks of opportunity?

Edit: You might also be interested in Psicrystal Containment. It allows your Psicrystal to hold your psionic focus for you. If you don't have a Psicrystal as a class feature, you might also consider Psicrystal Affinity. All of these feats can be found in the Expanded Psionics Handbook.

Anotehr way is to be an Elan with the racial feat from Complete Psionic. Get focus back once a day for a minimal cost.

Check out this use of the Concentration skill:

Special: You can use Concentration to cast a spell, use a spell-like ability, or use a skill defensively, so as to avoid attacks of opportunity altogether. This doesn’t apply to other actions that might provoke attacks of opportunity.

The DC of the check is 15 (plus the spell’s level, if casting a spell or using a spell-like ability defensively). If the Concentration check succeeds, you may attempt the action normally without provoking any attacks of opportunity.[...]

That means you can use Concentration to make your Concentration check not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Indeed. You make two checks rather than one, but it works, and if your concentration is high enough you might even automatically succeed.
