Vision: Low-light vision

Languages: Common, and choice of one other
Skill Bonuses: +2 Arcana, +2 Insight
Threefold Mind: You gain a +1 bonus to your Will defence.
Aberrant Origin: You are native to the Far Realms, so you are conisdered a abberant creature for the purpose of effects that relate to creature origin.
Overmind: Whenever you complete an extended rest, choose one of the following minds to manifest.
Collective Mind: You gain a +2 bonus to all knowledge skill checks, and access to the Collective Mind racial power.
Oracle Mind: You gain a +2 bonus to initiative and access to the Oracle Mind racial power.

Effect: You may add you Intelligence modifier as a bonus to your Will defense until the end of your next turn.

Oracle Mind Synad Racial Power
Encounter
Free Action Personal
Trigger: When you miss with an attack.
Effect: Gain a +2 bonus to the attack roll. If the attack hits and would normally deal damage, it deals an additional 1d6 damage.
Special: Increase the bonus to hit to +4 at 11th level, and +6 at 21st level, and the additional damage to 2d6 at 11th level, and 3d6 at 21st level.

Some fluff would be nice (like what is threefold mind? why is this character built like it is? what do they look like?)

I'm not 100% sure, but most races that get a defense bonus get it because they have stat boosts that only effect one defense. Adding another +1 to Will is effectively giving this race +2 Will (because of the +1 to Charisma).

Also, there are no 'Knowledge' skills, that is a 3.5ism, you would do better to indicate the skills individually. Regarding that ability specifically, you may want to tone it down. A Bard with Jack of all Trades has an effective +5 to those skills, and with the +2 racial bonus to Arcana there is no reason to *not* play this race if you want to be an ritualist.

From what I understand, knowledge skills in 4E refer to any knowledge specific uses of Arcana, Religion, History, Dungeoneering, and Nature, and don't apply to rituals. It's a situational bonus. At least, that's how my group uses it.

As for the bonus to Will, I can name three other races that get a bonus to a defense while still having ability boosts that go to two separate defenses as well. I haven't had a chance to get around to the fluff, since this is a conversion from 3.5. The Synad race showed up in Complete Psionic.
