Put it in the core if possible. I mean why not represent a race and class from all the power sources, whether or not they keep power sources? It all needs proper play testing, and there's a fair number of people interested, might as well be now. I understand the potential issue of space, but until we see the basics of what this system looks like, it may be able to fit quite a bit.
