Ok, the suggested saves are

d20 + ability mod + power level... so about the ability mod, say I have a Savant (primary ability CON) and is manifesting a power from the Telepathy discipline (CHA), whould I use CON or CHA for the ability mod?

Then on items, do 3rd eyes take up a slot (aside 3rd eyes)? How about Torcs?

You use Con for your Psychokinetic powers, and Cha for your Telepathic powers, regardless of your primary discipline.

You can wear a Torc around your neck or upper arm, but it takes up the amulet slot. You can't wear one and an Amulet of Natural Armor at the same time (even if the torc is around your arm).

No one has really decided on the Third Eye. The most recent ruling from on high is that they are their own slot, but you can't wear one at the same time as a headband. Bah...

They should take up the headband slot.

I was confused by page 9 of the PsiHB, which says

Powers:
...
The DC fpr saving throws to resist a psion's power is 1d20 + the powerls level + the psion's key ability modifier
...

So wouldn't my key ability as a Savant be CON? I thought it would use my charisma for Telepathy powers, but this has lead me to see I'd use my CON for all of the powers (except Combat Modes). Thats why I'm asking. Mind you I have not played a Psion yet.

Sorry if I sound nit picky, I don't mean to, just would like something solid if I were to play a Psion.

EDIT: Found the Torc thing, thanks

The key ability for a psychokinesis power is con. The key ability for a psychoportation power is dex.

It would be better worded if it said something like:

"The DC for saving throws to resist a psion's power is 1d20 + the powers level + the psion's ability modifier of the power's key ability"

One day, I'll be able to get my head around the handwave for basing psionics off of physical stats. One day....
