Hmm... Has anyone used sanity points in a game? Could a psychological attack be used like a weapon to deplete SAN instead of HP?

I've used Mark of Justice as a way of keeping a PC cooperating with a program he disagreed with. I'm not sure is this is what you're looking for.

I am looking at using conversation to probe someone's weaknesses and then exploit them to cause psychological damage. No magic or other supernatural powers required. What I am not good at is crunching the numbers to make it happen in game terms...
