A question: Is it possible to insert Ptolus as a replacement of another city into another campaign setting (e.g. BIRTHRIGHT)?

1. Are there 1 in. squares line into it?
2. Any chance of it coming out in physical form so it doesn't have to be printed out?

I picked a copy of this up the other day, and it is a real nice map.

No. No kind of grid at all. No keyed numbers or areas either - just a very cool map and street names.

2. Any chance of it coming out in physical form so it doesn't have to be printed out?

I'm pretty sure this (or something similar) will come with the actual Ptolus product release. I've pre-ordered and certainly one of the things you get is a full color poster map.

The point of this one is so that you can print out sections, which is especially cool for showing players particular parts of the city. The lack of keyed areas means players don't get an idea for anything the DM doesn't want to show them.

Well, I don't want it to have key areas detailed on it with numbers or whatever, but it would be cool to have a grid so if you were using the city, you could put it down on the table and have battles and stuff on it.

I guess I just don't see any real benefit for this...

It's not a battlemap, so the scale would be way too small for that. If you're after a battlemap, this will seriously dissappoint you.

Well, a battlemap would be cool [although HUGE], that's not what I'm looking for. I'm not really specifically LOOKING for anything, just wondering what to do with it that a poster map cannot.
