A database backup has been made - some discussion is being held whether or not this is the final or whether another one will be done. The safe assumption for all to make is that another database will not be made - so don't make any posts you care to keep or not make later.

If they haven't already been, a couple of forums (including all PbP) are closed until the changeover. I'm sure that'll cause some confusion, but not as much as losing posts!

Edit: "Please read the new announcement for stuff you should know during the changeover as well as updates. The new server should be ready at the beginning of next week!". The link to the announcement at the top of every page has a forum identifier of 65. That's a secret forum, so when I press the link I get a permission denide error.

Can be solved by changing the f=XX to a forum id everyone has access to, such as this one (35).
