Publisher Appreciation Thread

I'd like to throw a big thank you out to the publishers with whom I've had positive relations and to thank them for their hard work and excellent attitudes towards "Us the Fans".

For myself and my own experiences this means a special thank you to the following folks

Mongoose Publishing (everyone, most personable company i've ever encountered), FFG (Greg Benege, Rob Vaughn... and especially Wil upchurch when he was working for them), Bastion Press (Steve Creech.. i swear ill get to the M&M conversion for you at some point <g>), RPG Objects (Chris etc.. top blokes), Green Ronin (Nikchick, Mr Pramas, Mr Kenson... all nice folks..if a little slow on the e-mail responses LOL), ENPublishing (books for fans by fans...cant say fairer than that now can you), Dark Quest Games (tensen, excellent guy..2 reviews imminent btw <g>), Mystic Eye Games (all the guys are nice and personable folks which goes a long way with me). Special mentions for Monte Cook and Sean K Reynolds who have always taken the time to reply to e-mails eventually and answer questions, give opinions etc.. thanks guys it meant a lot.

now the above is not meant to exclude anyone but those are simply the folks I have had personal experiences with and on a frequent enough basis to note that it wasn't "one off" pleasantness but usual practice with them to be such nice people and companies.

so definite kudos to you guys...thanks!

Most of the publishers are probably just fine. I really doubt Morris was ranting about publishers who show that kind of class. I think it's fine to say "Morrus deserves better for the service he provides" and also say "Some publishers are jerks". Some are. Morrus does. What's the problem? I hope Morrus keeps things pretty much as they are.

If *ahem* you think I'm a fanboy because of that, I have lots of things to call you that Morrus' grandma wouldn't approve of. [insert all such insults right here, buddy, 'cause you have it coming.]

so let Wil Upchurch who I hope has gained a level in the meantime be the one name that stands for you all
Thanks a bunch Berandor (and Neo!), as you can see I did indeed gain a level quite recently! Sometimes my DMs (publishers) can be a little stingy with the XP, but they usually come through in the end. :)

I appreciate all the publishers that come to EN World and are active members of our community. (Please stay and don't judge Morrus too harshly. He's a good guy with a lot of stress.)

Cheers!

I want to thank Wulf for being so willing to do HOHF Gnomes despite the troubles just to please us Gnome lovers. I want to thank Mongoose for producing Lone Wolf, Green Ronin for Mutants and Masterminds, the company that did Excalibur(sorry, I forget which) for making a very cool period come to life, I want to thank Palladium(yeah I know, not d20) for being very easy to approach and creating some fun games.

and I want to thank each and every other RPG company for doing what they love because it enhances my hobby so much more.

Thanks to all of you.

I'd like to add my heartfelt thanks to all the publishers who supply us with the fuel to feed our imaginations, who spend their free time in communities such as EN World to answer our questions and suport their products, who donate their time, products and services to support charitable and important causes, and who remain important parts of this and other RPG communities!

I say kudos to the publishers, I won't name any, cause there are lots of publishers and authors that I think are great (and subsequently require me to buy more bookshelves). Keep up the great work, cause I appreciates ya.

This has beena great forum for a meeting of the minds between the suppliers and those who demand. Most of you publishers have been kind, patient, and generous. Its unfortunate it has to end this way.

Ahh...did anyone actually declare war yet? :heh:

You know the feeling you get when your two best friends have been fighting and are not talking to each other? That's how I feel today. :(

I'm here to show my appreciation to all those publishers that have made my PbPs and my gaming evenings great, especially, those who have been active members of the friendliest community I ever found on the net. I hope we all can quickly forget this accident.
