I agree. At first I thought "Pulp Fantasy -- how lame. And I thought Urbana Arcana sucked..now THIS?!?!?"

Then reading it...it's for d20 modern. It's compatible with Thrilling Tales. Doesn't say if has magic using drow in mini skirts or not.

I certainly think a demo would be wise, but also talking to another publisher about writing a good product blurb. It's a lot of hype, but no information.

I don't know anything about it, other than the fact that it's based on d20 Modern, and that they asked me quite a while ago if they could "mention Thrilling Tales in the book in case people would like to use your advanced classes as alternates to the ones we provide in the book."

I said sure, and apparently that translated into "compatible with Thrilling Tales" marketing text.

I haven't seen a copy, though, so beyond that, I got nothin'.

Pulp Fantasy Skim

I own a copy.

It's a 1920s-1930s d20 pulp supplement for d20 Modern.

There are no elves, dwarves, or magic.

Thanks for the post Walt, but that still tells me little to nothing about the book. Got any further information you can share?

Pulp Fantasy Contents

There are no adventures.

The book does provide additional talent trees for the Basic Classes, some new skills, feats, and occupations, and a collection of advanced classes. There's also an equipment list, a section on weird science, and a brief overview of the world.
