Punisher of the Gods ?

According to google, it is from dragon 372, some manual of the planes destiny. It supposedly has some encounter power which gives you an AP on a crit against a designated target (and using this does not count towards your 1 AP/encounter limit), so you can potentially get a lot of extra action this way (especially if you use some multi-hitting power such as twin-strike) and at lv 30, they automatically deal max damage against the cursed target.

No comments on its power level though. :p

So what do you think about the legality of POTG's Pirate ?
Is it broken cheese or legitimate rules ?
Wow. I am impressed with your maturity, Sir (or Madam).

I don't see PotG as overpowered, simply Avenger taken to an extreme. Yay, you get tons of action points when you crit your cursed enemy. You also max out damage against it.

So?

Unlike far too many destinies, you only gain 'immortality' against your cursed enemy - great if you fight tons of solos, but nowhere near as overpowered as some destinies.

Why thank you my friend, I really appreciate you considerations and thoughtful overtures.
I was hoping to acquire some valuable insight into whether people considered it broken or not.

Our DM seems to think it is, so I might just go Deadly Trickster :)

It is no more broken than, say, a battle rage vigor (BRV) fighter...

Only broken if your DM doesn't change tactics and allows it to be that way...

My current thoughts are to make an Avenger(MC:Paladin), Son of Mercy, Punisher of the Gods... hehe

Dunno how well it would work, but definitely be fun, as you can do all three's Oaths on one person, or put em on different people, etc...
