Putting Knock in a ring

I believe that the cost would be 48,000 by the book.

Spell Level (2) * Caster Level (12) * 2,000 = 48,000

The Caster level 12 is required for the Forge Ring Feat which is necessary if you want the item to be a ring.

The minimum caster level for a feat is not the minimum caster level for items made with that feat. For instance, the ring of Blinking has a caster level of 7th, and the Ring of Animal Friendship has a caster level of 3rd.

Why not put it on a boot; Like I did. It came out as 12,000. I'm not sure if that expensive enough like mostly all of you have said, especially as mine give stability bonuses (againt being tripped)

Fair Enough...
I suppose that a 12th level caster with the Forge Ring feat could create the ring at a lower caster level... Reducing the cost.
