I can barely get people at my extremely technical nearly all engineering 23% PhD workplace to understand what probabilities really are.

This... this is too much =)

So if I can get the misses to interfere with each other and cancel out, while increasing the amplitude probability of a crit ...

... it means there might be a dead cat in the box!

(Or not, I'm only a 1st level Wizard. Those cats are tough customers.)

This reminds me of an old joke I once heard...

Heisenberg, Schrodinger, and Ohm are having a pleasant Sunday drive when they are pulled over.

Heisenberg is driving, and the cop asks him, "Do you know how fast you were going?"

"No," he replies, "But I know exactly where I am."

The cop says, "You were doing 55 in a 35 zone."

Heisenberg throws up his hands and shouts, "Great! Now I'm lost!!"

The cop thinks this is suspicious and orders him to pop the trunk. He checks it out and says, "Do you know you have a dead cat back here?"

"We do now, @$$hole!!" shouts Schrodinger.

The cop moves to arrest them, but Ohm resists.
