It all is very clear except for the section for Advantages and Disadvantages. Having trouble wrapping my mind around that concept. Is there a way to expand upon that point?
Here's some examples of advantages/disadvantages:
Example 1: You roll 7 on the attack. You add your attack modification +3 - you get 10 on the attack. The opponent has 8 in defence. You hit.
Example 2: You roll 11 on the attack. This counts as 4. You You add your attack modification +3 - you get 7 on the attack. The opponent has 8 in defence. You miss. And you get disadvantage because you rolled 11 or 12 and missed.
Example 3: You roll 12 on the attack. This counts as 7. You You add your attack modification +3 - you get 10 on the attack. The opponent has 8 in defence. You hit. And you get advantage because you rolled 11 or 12 and managed to hit.
