I built a tool that generates complete D&D 5e one-shot sessions from a few inputs — setting, party level/size, tone, difficulty.

It outputs structured cards you can use directly at the table:

• Synopsis - title, themes, session overview
• Scenes - with read-aloud text and DM notes
• NPCs - personality, appearance, motivation
• Encounters - CR-appropriate monsters from the SRD, tactics, terrain
• Treasure - items with story hooks
• Conclusion - wrap-up and next-session hooks

You can rate individual cards and add your own DM notes directly on each one.
Generation takes about 30 seconds. Free, no account needed.
An Advanced quality tier with richer detail is coming soon — right now Standard is available.

Quick update since my last post — quite a bit has changed!

Advanced quality is now live! Sign in with Google (free) to access it. You get 5 Standard sessions per week (1 Advanced)- Advanced uses a more capable model and produces noticeably richer NPCs, more detailed scene descriptions, and tighter narrative hooks. Worth trying if you want something closer to "ready to run" rather than "good starting point."

Encounter calibration. You can now tell the generator what magic items your party is carrying and which high-impact spells they have available (Fireball, Spirit Guardians, Counterspell, etc.). The generator actually adjusts encounter design around them, so a party with a Holy Avenger gets a harder fight, and a party with a pocket wizard gets enemies with contingency plans.

Session gallery. there's now a public gallery of top-rated sessions at questforgedm.com/gallery. Great if you want to see what the tool produces before committing to generating your own.

Sign-in with Google is required to generate, it takes about 10 seconds and unlocks your session history and DM notes too.
