Question about BAB and spells.

*raises hand*
Can a wizard with a BAB of +6/+1 cast 2 standard-action spells?

that would have been nice wouldn't it???:p

there would be no challenge for the wizard if that was the case...

that's why they changed "haste" in 3.5...

(in 3.0 with haste you could do 2 standard actions...now its 2 "attacks")

I don't quite get the point of the Bad BAB then. Even with a Good BAB you'd need Dex and Str not to mention an armor for CQC.
And ranged touch attacks almost always hit, not to say always.

Would high BAB make more sense? Think about multi-classing.

The only ways to cast two spells in a round (that i know of/remember):

-Spells with "swift/immediate" action casting time.

-Quicken Spell + Sudden Quicken Spell (Feats)

-A PrC which provides relevant abilities (like Abjurant Champion)
