Question about BAB and spells.

You can drop that AFC another 10% with arcane armor feat in the complete mage. Can't think what it is. Arcane armor mastery is the next for an additional 10%

Arcane spell failure? Mithril breastplate on a two-weapon fighter with high dex has 15%. Or you can choose non-combat spells or pre-combat buffs, where failure isn't critical.

...there are materials in "Arms & Equipment Guide" that can lower arcane spell failure even more... even down to 0%... i think...

I get your point but I still don't think it's worth it. A buffer and a fighter or a caster and a fighter or a Duskblade even would be better.
Anywho, thanks for the replies.

The only ways to cast two spells in a round (that i know of/remember):

-Spells with "swift/immediate" action casting time.

-Quicken Spell + Sudden Quicken Spell (Feats)

-A PrC which provides relevant abilities (like Abjurant Champion)

Or be a level 8+ Factotum. With a decent pool of Inspiriation points.

Keep in mind that BAB progression is still a factor in ray spells, and therefore matters. Not that a Wizard needs to be casting that many ray spells, with everything else available, but there is a purpose to progressing a BAB. It's just not with miltiattacking.
