Question About Board Gaming

I'm about to start an online game on these boards, my first here. How exactly do you guys handle die rolls and that? There's not a die rolling engine on here, is there?

There's not a die rolling program on ENWorld, no. But for info on how die rolls are typically handled (and other questions that may help you), check out the PbP Faq linked in my sig!

Just to sum it up, usually the DM handles most or all of the rolls. Some DMs choose to let their players roll for initiatives, and mundane skill checks (to see if they overheard another PC's conversation, as an example), but that's mostly it.

Optionally, the Irony Games site offers a secure e-Mail dice server that allows you to make a roll, which is automatically emailed to your DM.
