Question about Dragon stats

Hi,

I have a question concerning what my be a misprint in the MM 3.5, I was statting out a Old Red Dragon, using the Very Old RD write-up on page 77 as a template, changing numbers as I went. I was calculating the damage and such for the Snatch feat when I ran into a problem. In the Very Old write-up it states the dragon can fling a snatched creature 90 ft. but in the Snatch Feat description on page 304 it says a flung creature travels 1d6 x 10 feet.

Does anyone know what the deal is, does something else figure in to this? Thanks for any input you may have.

First, welcome to the boards.

There's a misprint, though I don't know on what. As a GM, go with the weaker option when in doubt. Besides, theres more tension when you pick up dice and roll them, out in the open, to determine the amount of damage dealt. I hope no lives (real or imagined) were lost due to this misprint.

Though I would like to know how whoever did the writeup pull 90' out of his arse.
